ANIMART, Inc. announces the recent promotion of Dr. Michael Costin to the position of Professional Services Manager of the dairy and livestock division which provides animal health products, supplies and solutions to producers.

"Dr. Costin will be a great addition to our leadership team," said Dan Ellsworth, President of ANIMART. "He has demonstrated exceptional innovation over the past few years and we look forward to his efforts on expanding our current veterinary foundation."

In his new role, Dr. Costin will be leading the team of ANIMART veterinarians who provide a number of on-farm services including herd health programs and written standard operating procedures. He will also expand outreach initiatives to the veterinary community and related industry stakeholders. In addition to his role as manager, Dr. Costin will continue to maintain VCPRs with many of his current ANIMART clients.

"I have enjoyed providing top-notch veterinary services to ANIMART's producers," said Dr. Costin. "My new role allows me to continue doing this while assisting ANIMART's talented veterinary staff with their passions for the industry."

Dr. Costin recently graduated with an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received his DVM from Kansas State University in 2003. In addition to his schooling, he has remained a presence throughout the veterinary community by continuing to be involved in the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Association and Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association. He has recently received national notoriety and acclaim for his work with producers in developing proper handling techniques of down cows.
