ZoetisZoetis welcomes Cheryl Marti as senior marketing manager for U.S. Dairy Genetics and Reproductives.

Marti joins the Zoetis U.S. Cattle and Equine marketing team following a successful nine-year career at Zoetis as a territory business manager and senior dairy production specialist based in Wisconsin and fresh cow reproduction manager in the Great Lakes states. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong record of successes and has earned 12 peer-nominated leadership awards.

"Cheryl brings a wealth of experience to our business, and we are very excited to have her on the team," said Mike Layfield, director of U.S. dairy marketing at Zoetis. "Her previous experience in bovine reproduction, marketing and genetics, along with her extensive dairy industry involvement, make her a valuable addition to the marketing team, and ultimately to our customers."

Marti grew up on her family's registered Holstein farm, Olmar Farms, in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. She earned a bachelor's degree in animal science from the University of Minnesota, a master's degree in dairy science with a genetics emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA with a management and marketing emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Marti has been heavily involved in the dairy industry, working over 14 years in the A.I. industry, and has been involved in dairy cattle judging, as well as coaching successful 4-H and collegiate dairy judging teams at the local, state and national levels. She serves as the superintendent for the National 4-H Dairy Cattle Judging Contest and is a member of the World Dairy Expo exhibitor committee.
