Meetings to Speak to Regional Dairy Markets, Profitability
With less than two weeks to register, the Center for Dairy Excellence will host three December PA Dairy Industry Professional Roundtable Meetings. Dairy markets suggest 2016 will require producers and the professionals who serve them to be strategic in building budgets and achieving profitability.
The center would like to invite industry professionals to attend a meeting near them, where 2016 profitability forecasts will be shared. In addition, roundtable discussions on resources, tools, and best practice sharing for maximizing success in 2016 will provide attendees with insights into serving dairy clients.
"This is an important opportunity for dairy industry stakeholders to network with and learn from other professionals serving dairy producers," Alan Zepp, risk management program manager with the center said. "We can collaborate to better extend resources which will benefit producers' as they prepare for the New Year.
Come join us at one of three locations next month:
- Tuesday, December 15 in Cranberry, Pa., with breakfast at 8:15 a.m. in the Bob Evans, 27 Kimberly Lane, Cranberry, PA 16319
- Tuesday, December 15 in Duncansville, Pa., with lunch at 1 p.m. in the Hoss's Steak & Seafood, 110 Patchway Road, Duncansville, PA 16635
- Thursday, December 17 in Lancaster, Pa., with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in the Lancaster Farm & Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Rd., Lancaster, PA 17601
*Note: Meeting will run after meals conclude
The agenda for the meetings will include roundtable discussion and include the following:
- Industry roundtable regional industry markets and happenings
- End roundtable with discussion on the center's program update and 2016 CDE priorities
