describe pixtThe Wisconsin FFA Foundation welcomes Jennifer Bradley as their marketing coordinator. In this role, Bradley will assist in coordinating and implementing communication and outreach programs for the Foundation, a statewide organization that builds partnerships with industry, education, government, foundations and individuals to secure resources to support the FFA mission.

Bradley will be responsible for coordinating marketing strategies and fundraising events, project management, as well as preparing written materials for the organization. She also will aid in collaborative efforts with the Wisconsin FFA Foundation board of directors, current and potential Wisconsin FFA supporters, the Wisconsin Association of FFA, the Wisconsin FFA Center, the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association and the Wisconsin Association of Agricultural Educators (WAAE) to achieve ongoing support of Wisconsin FFA.

"We are delighted to welcome Jennifer to our team," says Sara Schoenborn, Wisconsin FFA Foundation Executive Director. "She is an individual who has a love and passion for agriculture coupled with a strong communications background."

Bradley graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in communications, majoring in journalism. In recent years, she has worked as an entrepreneur, launching a freelance business: Bradley Bylines. She writes for many local, state and national agricultural publications, as well as other business and consumer titles. In addition, Bradley has experience in many facets of communications and marketing.

Schoenborn says Bradley's multi-tiered knowledge of the agricultural industry will be a benefit to the Foundation: "As a farmer's daughter, agricultural journalist and someone who cares deeply about the FFA mission because of the impact it has had on her life, Bradley is a perfect fit for the Foundation and this role."

"Agriculture has always been in my daily vocabulary, and continues to be as my husband and I raise our two young sons on my parents' farm," Bradley says. "The FFA Creed is one I memorized as a freshman at New Holstein High School and still holds so much meaning as an adult today."

"I sincerely believe in passing along agricultural traditions, but more importantly, helping the next generation of farmers in reaching the rest of the population," Bradley adds. "The agricultural industry is in a time of significant debate, but one of considerable opportunity as well. I'm thrilled to be a part of its valuable message through my work at the Wisconsin FFA Foundation."

This year, the Wisconsin FFA Foundation aims to raise $510,000 to support Wisconsin FFA programs, including direct funding to local chapters and individual members as award checks, travel stipends, scholarships, supervised agricultural experience grants and state officer support. Additional financial assistance to the team of Wisconsin FFA organizations will fund state-level programming opportunities that support local chapters and members. This includes leadership conferences, administration of all award programs and contests, convention activities and state officer training.
