BouMatic Robotics has officially installed their first milking robots in the United States with Seehafer's Refrigeration at Sternweis Farms. They upgraded their dairy operation with a new barn featuring four milking robots. The BouMatic Robotics milking robots include two MR-S1, single unit robots and two MR-D1, double unit robots. The robot is in control throughout the entire milking process, managing the processes of washing, stimulating, milking, and after-treatment. These four milking robots will enable the 350 cow farm to run more efficiently and minimize the time demands associated with conventional milking methods. BouMatic Robotics is the first and only company to employ this milking method that has been shown to dramatically increase animal welfare.
