Balchem Corporation (NASDAQ: BCPC) recently promoted Glen Aines, Ph.D., to Director, Sales and Services, Animal Nutrition & Health ruminant products and Barbara Barton, Ph.D., to Research and Product Development Manager. Aines will be responsible for continuing sales growth in the Americas while managing, developing and leading the Animal Nutrition & Health Sales and Technical Services teams. Barton will be responsible for overseeing all research programs for new and existing ruminant products.

Dr. Glen Aines (at right) was recently promoted to Balchem's Director, Sales and Services, Animal Nutrition & Health ruminant products.

Aines joined Balchem in 2008 as a technical services specialist and has progressively undertaken more responsible positions, most recently holding the global manager, technical services position. Aines earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in animal science from Virginia Tech and a Ph.D. in ruminant nutrition from the University of Nebraska.

In 2007, Barton joined Balchem in a technical services role. After serving the western region sales team, she quickly expanded her role, providing technical support for Balchem's ruminant European business, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.




Dr. Barbara Barton is now Research and Product Development Manager for Balchem Animal Nutrition & Health, ruminant products.

Barton earned a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University in Animal Science and a master's and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition. Both are relocating to the corporate office in New Hampton, New York.
