Charles StarkeyBalchem Corporation (NASDAQ: BCPC), the largest producer of choline chloride products worldwide, recently announced the addition of Charles Starkey, Ph.D. to the position of Monogastric Technical Service. Starkey will be responsible for customer support, research and product development for Balchem's monogastric team.

"Charles brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Balchem with his years of experience in the monogastric feed industry," says Thomas Powell, Director, ANH monogastric business. "His experience working across multiple species and his extensive relationships with leading university researchers will play a vital role in meeting customer needs and extending our capabilities and proficiencies."

Starkey was previously the director of technical services for a pet and animal feed ingredients company where he managed technical, regulatory and scientific aspects of production. He was also employed as a new business development manager in the poultry and swine industries where he provided technical support to the company's field sales and research and market development teams. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in agriculture from Arkansas State University, and his doctorate in nutrition from Kansas State University.

Dr. Starkey looks forward to working with the industry to help customers reach their goals, as well as, provide counsel and direction for new product development.
