Brandt KreuscherAllflex USA, part of the Allflex Group, global leader in animal identification and traceability systems, today announced the hiring of Brandt Kreuscher to the newly created position of dairy business manager. In his new role, Kreuscher will be based in California and will oversee the North American dairy activities for Allflex USA and Allflex subsidiary SCR.

"Mr. Kreuscher has an incredible knowledge of the dairy industry and most importantly the implementation and use of technology in the dairy sector. Through this tenure, he's fostered the everyday use of electronic identification on dairies to streamline record keeping and improve decision making. His vast experience in research, herd management and the use of data to improve decision making, is an incredible skill set to add to our staff. He'll be tasked with implementing the use of current and new technology for both Allflex and SCR," said Allflex President Glenn Fischer. "Information is a high-value tool for our North American producers and we look forward to Brandt's leadership, research background and real-world knowledge to lead our dairy efforts."

"We are excited for Brandt to join the team and bring his extensive, practical dairy knowledge to our joint organization," said SCR U.S. General Manager Tom Breunig. "Our customers will benefit, as his real-world dairy technology, software and management experience will ensure they get the most from our technology to ultimately improve health monitoring, reproduction and herd performance."

Kreuscher is a graduate of the University of California at Davis with a bachelor's degree in ag education and an emphasis in dairy production. Additionally, he completed his graduate study at Cornell University and was a graduate of Cornell's nationally recognized Dairy Fellows program, specializing in dairy education and field experience. He has managed electronic identification and mobile projects for Valley Ag Software for the last 15 years, coordinated dairy research projects and managed dairy herds for the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and the University of California at Davis. His interests outside of work include hiking, camping and hunting. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Ducks Unlimited and California Waterfowl.

"It's exciting to be part of an industry that is so important and progressive," said Kreuscher. "The dairy industry has always embraced technology to improve the efficiency of food production. As the world population continues to grow, this becomes even more imperative. Our industry will constantly be challenged to do more for cows with less. Allflex and SCR are uniquely positioned to help dairy producers meet this demand. I'm honored and excited to join a team of people that are wholly committed to providing pioneering solutions to enhance dairy management."
