Erin KappelmanAgSource is pleased to announce that Erin Kappelman has accepted the position of Regional Sales Representative. In this role she will introduce dairy producers to the cooperative's Dairy Herd Improvement (DHI) products and services and assist with internal sales training.

Tom DeMuth, Director of Member and Association Services, welcomes Kappelman to the team noting, "The dairy business relies on data to make good management decisions. Erin will have a chance to demonstrate to dairy producers the value of monthly milk testing. AgSource's mission is to provide valuable information and innovative solutions to improve decisions and profitability of members and customers. Erin's dairy background and sales experience uniquely position her to understand and deliver on this promise."

Kappelman is a 2014 graduate of UW-Madison with a bachelor's degree in Dairy Science. While in college, she participated in the Midwest Dairy Challenge competition and was an active member of the Saddle & Sirloin Club, Association of Women in Agriculture and the Badger Dairy Club. She also worked as a student intern for the Department of Dairy Science.

Kappelman grew up working on her family's 460-cow dairy, Meadow Brook Dairy Farms in Two Rivers, Wis., where she assisted with all aspects of herd management. In addition, she served as a special projects intern for Cooperative Network and most recently was a summer dairy sales intern for Zoetis.
