New Amino Acid Bypass Supplement Manufacturing Plant Opens in U.S.

Chris Holmes, CEO of the UK’s London Stock Exchange based company, Carr’s Milling Industries PLC, cuts the ribbon with Chris Venter, CEO of the South African Johannesburg Stock Exchange listed company, Afgri Animal Feeds, on their new joint venture in the United States, Afgritech, LLC. These two international companies, with extensive interests in agriculture, have invested $5 million in this new state-of-the-art facility, which will produce the bypass protein product AminoMax®.

AminoMax is a new bypass protein product for dairy cows. This amino acid bypass technology is a cost effective method of improving milk quality and production. AminoMax products are manufactured through a patented process that combines sugars and protein making a high quality, multiple amino acid bypass protein supplement. AminoMax provides a consistent level of digestible lysine, methionine and other essential amino acids, which can increase milk protein, milk yield and milk quality.
