Brought to you by Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin (PDPW), the 2015 PDPW Business Conference offers these keynote speakers, plus multiple breakout sessions, the Hall of Ideas and Equipment Show, lively entertainment and networking opportunities for dairy producers and other dairy professionals around the globe.

Back by popular demand, Dr. David Kohl will kick off the conference with thought-provoking information and knowledge acquired from his many travels, research and mentoring of top ag business leaders. Dr. Kohl is Professor Emeritus in the Agricultural and Applied Economics Department at Virginia Tech. He is also part owner of Homestead Creamery, a value-added dairy business in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Mary Keough Ledman will provide keen insights into the production, processing, pricing and policy side of dairy. Drawing on her 30 years of experience in dairy markets, Ledman will describe the current dairy markets, where we are going, and how dairy producers can get there profitably. She is the founder of Keough Ledman Associates, a dairy economic consulting firm.

Tim Hunt will assess the demand for dairy products around the world, growth in competing dairy regions and your ability to compete on the world stage. And, because U.S. dairy success in not only about production, he'll also explore the challenges facing our processing infrastructure, revealing the increasingly important connections between everyone in the dairy supply chain. Hunt is the global dairy strategist for Rabobank's Food & Agribusiness Research and Advisory Team.

Waldo the Wingman, Colonel Rob "Waldo" Waldman, will deliver a one-of-a-kind presentation about building trusted, revenue producing relationships while sharing his experiences as a combat decorated fighter pilot. Waldo will focus on a key philosophy: While you may be trained for combat, you should avoid it at all costs and find balance between relationships and results in today's competitive business environment. Waldman is author of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller Never Fly Solo.

Garrison Wynn brings his years of entrepreneurial success to the stage and shares his secrets to success in business. Wynn is also a professional stand-up comedian, bringing energizing humor to his presentation about creating successful business processes.

Lively entertainment on Wednesday evening will be something special to see. This entertaining surprise will help audience members take a unique look at how the dairy industry sees itself, and how others see dairy farming.

Dairy science, veterinary, and agronomy professionals attending select sessions of the 2015 Business Conference can receive continuing education credits through the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, as well as through ARPAS, the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists, and in some sessions through the Certified Crop Adviser (CCA).
