The Red & White Dairy Cattle Association extends an invitation to all Red & White enthusiasts to attend the 2015 National Red & White Convention, "Seeing Red in the Scenic Hills of Iowa." Festivities are scheduled for July 14-16 in Decorah, Iowa. Mark your calendars to attend this year's convention! Deadline to register is June 23, 2015.

Tuesday, July 14th: The 2015 National Convention kicks off with four farm tours to area Red and White breeders. The day will begin at Lyons Holsteins (Doug & Lynnette Lyons & Family) of Castalia. Following this, we will head to Henkeseen Holsteins (Trent & Leslie Henkes & Family) of Luana. Our next stop will be to Rolling Prairie Guernseys (Dan & Ann Walther & Family) of Garnavillo. The final stop of the day will be to Regancrest Farm of Waukon. After a busy day of tours, a complimentary dinner will be served at the Winneshiek County Fairgrounds in the Danan Lansing Building. This dinner is hosted by the Doug and Lynnette Lyons Family. At the end of the day, the National Red and White Queen Contest will be held followed by the Annual RWDCA Board Meeting. Cost to attend Farm Tour Day is $15/person which includes transportation and meals for the day.

Wednesday, July 15th: The Convention continues with the National Red and White Convention Show at 10:00a.m. with showmanship beginning at 9:00a.m. Following the show, the Official RWDCA Annual Banquet will be held in the upper level of T-Bocks in Decorah. Social hour begins at 6:30p.m. with the Banquet and Annual RWDCA Membership Meeting to follow at 7:00p.m. The cost for the meeting and banquet is
$25/person.

Thursday, July 16th: The National Red & White Convention concludes with the 46th National Red & White Convention Sale at 10:00a.m. There will be complimentary rolls and drinks provided prior to the sale at the Winneshiek County Fairgrounds. The sale is managed by Courtney Sales, LLC, Scott and Amy Courtney. An online catalog will be available for your viewing at www.redandwhitecattle.com. Be sure to purchase your raffle ticket for the amazing opportunity to be the winner of a choice of TWO Red and White heifers. Proceeds go towards the Red & White Albrecht Memorial Scholarship. These are heifers that anyone would be happy to have bred or potentially own. Be sure to have the winning ticket to add one of these heifers to your herd!

Optional Event:
Friday, July 17th: There will be an additional event on this day that is optional for all Red and White Enthusiasts. We are taking a trip to Cedar Rapids for a Cedar Rapids Kernels baseball game. This night is Agriculture night for the Kernels. We will be in box seating so all drinks and food are included. Cost is $27/person. Please contact the RWDCA office for more information.
