The 2015 Georgia Dairy Conference is rapidly approaching and dairy producers should make plans today to join us! This year's event will take place at the Savannah Riverfront Marriott in Savannah, Georgia, Jan. 12-14, 2015.

The Georgia Dairy Conference (GDC) is dedicated to providing dairymen with significant and practical "take-home" information. Thanks to support from generous industry supporters, the GDC has earned a reputation as a top educational conference in the Southeast. In 2014, more than 200 producers and dairy industry representatives attended this three-day event. This year, we're building on that momentum by delivering another high-impact conference. Leading experts will make presentations on topics ranging from nutrition and genetics to the future of the dairy industry, dairy sustainability and economics.

In addition to our quality line-up of educational speakers, we will also host the first Southeast Dairy Student Symposium during the GDC on Tuesday, Jan. 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. This program is designed to provide students, interested in the dairy industry, with a platform to explore careers and internship opportunities in the Southeast. The objectives of the symposium are to connect dairymen, industry affiliates and future graduates; promote the exchange of ideas and experiences among students, dairymen and industry affiliates; and to build networking opportunities for future graduates.

We hope you will join us as we invest to make the Georgia dairy industry competitive in a national context.

Dairy producers, industry affiliates and students interested in attending GDC can download an agenda and registration form at www.gamilk.org or contact Farrah Newberry or Allison Fortner at 706-310- 0020.
